Meredith Chandler, OTR/L
With 9 years of experience as an occupational therapist, Meredith Chandler has dedicated her career to helping the elderly population regain their independence. Working primarily with seniors in inpatient and skilled nursing settings, she specializes in training for activities of daily living, neuro re-education, adaptive equipment instruction, wheelchair mobility, and home care techniques for caregivers. Meredith finds great meaning in using rehabilitative therapies to empower her geriatric patients. Whether assisting a stroke survivor relearn how to dress themselves or enabling a wheelchair-bound senior to mobilize again, she approaches each patient with compassion. When not working, Meredith continues serving the elderly community by volunteering, spends time with family, and expresses her creativity through painting, music, and writing children’s books. After publishing her first book in 2019, she hopes to continue authoring stories and artwork. Meredith's dedication to nurturing people's independence makes her a devoted advocate for the elderly.
